Our Therapy Approach
PARENT-CHILD INTERACTION THERAPY
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based treatment for children 2 to 7 years of age with emotional and behavioral challenges.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based treatment that aids in helping an individual identify their dysfunctional thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Research suggest that CBT leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a specific type of cognitive behavioral therapy that has been effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD that have developed after experiencing a variety of traumatic events including child abuse, combat, rape and natural disasters.
TF-CBT is a structured, short-term therapy (4 – 6 months) for individuals 3 to 18 years old who have experienced trauma & are having symptoms of traumatic stress.
DIALECTICAL BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced-based therapy approach that helps individuals who struggle to control their emotions and behaviors.
